Terri Jones named PRNews Agency Executive of the Year
AccessPR SVP recognized nationally for outstanding public relations efforts
ROANOKE, Va. (November 9, 2007)—Terri Jones, APR and senior vice president of public relations at AccessPR, has been named Agency Executive of the Year in the 2007 PR People Awards national competition. The prestigious honor was presented during an awards luncheon on Nov. 8 at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.
The awards program, organized by PR News, recognizes the nation's top communications professionals and their outstanding public relations achievements from the past year. The entries were judged by a panel of corporate, agency and academic executives, and PR News staff. From more than 1,000 entries, 53 professionals were named finalists in 14 categories. Terri was chosen from four finalists in the category for Agency Executive of the Year.
"Terri is a tremendous asset to the public relations industry, our community, and especially to Access. Her passion and dedication to her profession and clients is truly commendable," said Access President Todd Marcum. "Her friends have always known that we have a special talent working here in the Roanoke Valley. It’s nice to see the industry recognize her accomplishments through this national award."
