Roanoke, Va. (Sept. 6, 2007) -- Terri Jones, APR and senior vice president of public relations at Access PR, has been named a finalist in the national PR People Awards 2007 competition. Jones was nominated in the Agency Executive of the Year category, and will be honored at an awards luncheon on Nov. 8 at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

The awards program, organized by PR News, recognizes the nation’s top communications professionals and their outstanding public relations achievements from the past year. The entries were judged by a panel of corporate, agency and academic executives, and PR News staff. Fifty-three professionals were named finalists in 14 categories, and a first-place winner in each category will be announced at the awards luncheon in November.
